Politics Is a Numbers Game
And the numbers are VERY large


We must realize from the outset that ‘politics’ is a ‘numbers game’, and that the numbers are very large. We must, from the outset, swallow hard and realize that the organization we need to build will not, and cannot, achieve its goals unless it attracts the participation of millions of people. We must think in those terms, or else our pretenses to political power are no more than self-indulgent delusions.

If we think in those terms, we can grasp the scale of the potential we are talking about here. We believe that millions of citizens are eager to find some means to fight back against the erosion of Justice and Democracy in our nation. We believe that the organization we envision in this proposal can attract the participation of these millions of people. Our Basic Purpose must be to provide the means for people to unite our resources in order to develop the means to communicate our powerful Basic Message of Democracy to the 80% of the citizenry that is painfully aware of the erosion and corruption of Democracy in America. With the existing means of mass communications in the hands of the very ‘special interests’ who have corrupted our democratic system, we must use our united resources to create channels of mass communications that do not yet exist, and to force access to those that do.
